CardinalEmpire.com
I'm sure I botched the spelling, but you get the idea. Is having the #1 WR on a bad team better than having a deep threat guy who may be the #3 option overall? Naanee got 8 targets last night, second behind Malcolm Floyd, but had the big reception to lead all SD receivers. The first half of the schedule looks awful nice getting St. Louis, Seattle, Oakland (I assume Floyd will draw Asomugha), Houston, and New England. ROYALWITCHEESE
yes.....better QB = better WR I say no. Freeman will improve and Williams is his #1 target. Naanee is # 3 target at best, not to mention his TD was a completely blown coverage...

Freeman even apologized to the kid after he missed him on what should have been a second TD. I don't think Naanee has nearly the ceiling or will be as consistent as the #3 option, as Williams as the clearcut #1 there.

I think Nanee will have a decent year because of the fact that he has Rivers throwing him the ball but he is nowhere near the talent that Mike Williams is. I forsee Williams stock continuing to rise throughout the year as him and Freemans chemistry improves.
