lennykravitz2004
This is a waterway in Louisiana, and by the looks of it I’d say avoid the brisk swim at all costs. And don’t eat the fish. For all of the explanations of what's going on in the Gulf, this has helped finally sink in to me what exactly happened, or rather the extent of what has happened. Oh. My. God. Big F'n Dave
If I had to guess, that was probably caused by low oxygen in the water, not by the oil spill. Fish kills like that aren't terribly uncommon down here this time of year. The water gets warm and shallow and algae eat up all the oxygen. Saw stuff like that in the fishing pond/lake one year when we lived in California near the end of a extra hot summer. The fish hosed up by BP will mug you and take your camera. No photos.
