Chris1982
12 Team, PPR (0.5 points per reception) - START 2 QBs - QB passing TDs are worth 6. My roster: QB: Schaub, Orton RB: Gore, Foster WR: Hines Ward, Derrick Mason, Jabar Gafney, Massaquoi TE: Vernon Davis, Schiancoe FLEX: Jonathan Stewart Bench: Jerome Harrison, Williams (Sea), Kevin Walter, Amendola, Matt Cassell, Mark Sanchez I've been offered MIchael Turner, Tony Romo, Devin Hester and Roy Williams for Frank Gore, Kyle Orton, Hines Ward, Matt Cassell Keep in mind that my league is 0.5 PPR (Gore's value is more). THOUGHTS??? Edited September 19, 2010 by Chris1982
Junkyard
I don't take this deal. Your already thin at WR, and Ward may arguably be your #1 or #2, and he is not being replaced. Romo is a step up over Schaub, but the additional points won't make up what you lose at WR. Trade just doesn't help you.
Chris1982
I start 2 QBs though, so it's an upgrade from Orton to Romo.
Junkyard
Evens it out a little and stack you at QB, but I still think you're left really thin at WR. Unless you plan on shopping Romo or Schaub for a WR upgrade down the road.

Jackass
in a 2 QB league, i'd take that deal in a second.
Dazzlemaster
I like that deal for you, but I always tend to be weak at WR to start the year. Take it, and work on upgrading your WR through WW and/or trades. Try and snag Dez / Williams (tb), or Murphy. They can be had relatively cheap compared to potential upside. I think Dez may quickly be a WR2.
ts
Lineup before & after, the "after" in brackets: QB: Schaub, Orton [Romo] RB: Gore, Foster, [Turner] WR: Hines Ward, Derrick Mason, Jabar Gafney, Massaquoi, [Walter/Hester/Amendola] TE: Vernon Davis, Schiancoe FLEX: Jonathan Stewart Bench: Jerome Harrison, Williams (Sea), Matt Cassell, Mark Sanchez, [Roy] So ... Romo > Orton Turner =< Gore Walter/Hester/Amendola << Ward ... somewhat significant downgrade at WR ... pretty much a wash, potential downgrade at RB, slight edge to Gore due to PPR ... upgrade at QB. The QB upgrade is nice, whether or not this really is a good deal for you depends in part on what the league QB scoring rules are, and what you predict Gore/Turner's performance-injury risk might be for the rest of the season. If you think that having 2 top-tier QBs gives you enough of an edge over your opponents to mitigate the hit you take at WR (and possibly at RB) then the deal makes sense ... otherwise, you're just moving players around to no real purpose and/or risking a net loss in team productivity. Chris1982
Good advice ts. My QB scoring is 6 points per TD (pass or rush) and 25 yards passing per point.

Valhalla
I would take that deal - It will give you two superb QB's to start every week plus you can always find a WR waiver wire gem. It happens every year.
