kennslp
Has anyone heard anything definitive about Shiancoe's status this week? He's probable, but there's hugely varying opinions on whether he's %100, or even if he'll play at all. Minn homers, any news? Thanks! -K
JUMbotron
The Vikings are healthy, the only player not to practice Firday was CB Chris Cook. Shiancoe is fine.

Rovers
I'm a litle nervous about Schiancoe this week. First there is the hamstring, then could Moss steal his red zone targets? If I didn't have another viable option I'd start him, but I am going with Shockey who has a nice matchup. I think the Jets will mix up their defense a lot... the Jets DC, Petine was talking about this matchup. He said if they put a S on him, it opens up the running game for AP. If they put a bigger body in, then Schiancoe presents a mismatch. He also talked about putting a slower but bigger S in at times to sort of split the difference. He went on to say how Farve knows the Jets' defense and they will try to disguise as much as they can, but Farve will figure it out, Petine just hopes it will take him and extra second or two and maybe then the pass rush can pressure him better. If the Jets were a straight cover 2 defense, I'd definitely start Schiancoe, but they mix it up a lot.
