heehawks
I've seen many a post on whether or not the collective should hold onto Pierre Thomas or drop him for another RB who's actually playing. There hasn't been a consensus by any means. So I'll ask the same... 8-man league and yet RBs are still pretty thin pickens on the pick up pile 1pt/15 yds rush 1pt/20 yds rec 0.5pt/rec 6pt/TD I've got A.Foster and J.Charles starting (only two RBs start), which is nice as they have both had their bye. But I need depth badly. On my bench sits P.Thomas, C.Ivory and D.Woodhead (kind of like him, great matchups late in the season and playoffs). Yet, not the most stellar of depth. Should I drop Thomas and pickup any of the following...B.Jacobs, Blount, T.Hightower, McGahee, F.Jackson, among others...? Or do I hold tight... Thanks for your opinions! countryroads
If your going to drop him I would pick up Jacobs. He is about the only one there with equal production potential. As for dropping him, I had him and traded him because I couldn't take it anymore. Personally I would jump on Jacobs.

ts
I see no real reason to hold PT any longer when Jacobs & Blount are available ... this PT ankle business has been going on far too long to be positive about a prompt return ... curious report below about "reducing the workload" of a guy that has not played or practiced in weeks. Thursday, October 28, 2010, 6:13pm Jeff Duncan on Twitter: Saints coach Sean Payton said Pierre Thomas saw a local foot and ankle specialist this week, the 3rd doctor to evaluate his injury. Advice was to reduce the workload.
Seahawk
I'm in a somewhat simular situation but I have the added problem of DeAngelo going down this week as well and My go to Back Turner on a Bye. This has been the toughest week so far for me in fantasy football. I picked up Blount this week. I advise you to do the same.
Qball86
Agreed there is no real reason for you to be holding Pierre Thomas on your bench. I'd take Blount out of the ones listed, at least he is becomming the front-runner on his team, better potential. Jacobs has Bradshaw, Hightower has Wells and McGahee has Rice. TB coaches seem to want to replace Caddy not spell him from time to time like the others. Blount has a chance to win a job at this point and the rest are just fighting for scraps.
