He has heart and you cant coach that. Really sad his body dosent feel the same. He will be a coach in Miami this year or next and probably our head coach one day. Whether he will or not who knows but I think he has a great football mind. The Dolphins already said they want him and he is very respected by all. muck Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 I could see this happen: Pennington quits playing, but doesn't file his retirement papers and becomes a coach. Three or four years from now, the team he's OC for (or QB coach or whatever) loses all their QBs in a series of injuries, and Pennington comes out of retirement to QB the final two or three games of the season to get his team into the playoffs, maybe even winning a game or two.
