I think Dragon Naturally Speaking has been around for years. I've never used it, but from what I've heard it's pretty good.

Dragon 'Naturally Speaking' is one application for this, if I follow what you are looking for. I tried it a number of years ago when it first came out & was not that impressed, but I'd expect the technology will have improved since then.

Agree. I tried it when the first Pentiums hit the street. The training took forever and still didn't work well. You...had...to...speak...very... s..l..o..w..l..y.

Before buying see if there's a trial offer.

My wife uses it every day at work. She agrees that the older versions sucked but said that the new version is great. But, yes you do have to spend a little time training it. I hear her using it and she speaks in a very normal voice, not slowly.
