JUMbotron
The New York Giants signed free-agent WR Brandon Stokley (Seahawks). Huddle Up: They are obviously a little concerned about Hakeem Nicks' knee, but frankly they needed a veteran slot guy to help replace the departed Steve Smith too. It's Stokley's fourth team in six years but that's more of a testament to his hard work and professionalism than declining ability. Stokley is a health risk, however. He's dealt with a Lis Franc foot sprain, sprained MCL, two dislocated shoulders, and a torn Achilles' tendon over his 12-year career. http://www.thehuddle.com/nfl/player/4755/

CaptainHook
Is it Nicks' knee they are worried about or the slot receiver position? Cruz dropped the first pass thrown to him and never got another chance. Hixon only had 2 catches . . . Rovers
Was hoping they would sign Lofa. The LB's pretty much suck. Eli's problem is an offense that relies on long to develop route running and an O line that can't protect. Stokely won't fix that. That, and he's made of glass. JUMbotron
I'm not a big Stokley guy but he manages to makes plays in spurts before he gets nicked again. Could be a nice addition, or maybe a complete non-factor.
