CaP'N GRuNGe
Too expensive to use in an average household I bet. If you slapped some sort of rfid chip on every item coming into your home, and then buy some sort of.scanner that attaches to your pantry with cell signal out you could in theory have the in/out activity monitored by a server somewhere. You can access your inventory account thru the innernets and set par levels and order triggers as well as where to order the items. Input your credit card and you are done.
