kolabear
Is there a way to generate a Top 200 list with Huddle projections using my league's scoring settings?
detlef
No, because the top 200 is, by the site's own admission, the least reliable cheat sheet they make. That's because an overall ranking like that is based on more than scoring systems, but league size and roster requirements. If you're in a league that has scoring that favors WRs and TEs and also a starting line-up requirement that allows you to start only 1 RB, for instance, than all the RBs should be shifted way down in the rankings. Not just because of the scoring, but also because of the line-up req. If your league is bigger, TEs and QBs may move up a tick because there are less to go around and it hurts more to get stuck with the 16th best QB or TE than it does the 8th or 10th. Things like that. I like the top 200, but mostly as a "oh jeez, that guy is still on the board?" kind of deal in the later rounds. Making it customizable would imply a level of reliability that they, understandibly, don't want to pledge. DMD
No. A Top 200 list cannot be accurately created using projections against a unique scoring system other than just laying some template over it just to make you think it is being customized. A 200 list is just rankings seeding the positions in. That is as much art as science. To say to take one position over another cannot be done purely by generated fantasy points or you would have all the QBs going first in most leagues for example. Our three 200 lists represent the three sorts of league characteristics that actually have a significant difference on how you would take different positions at the same draft spot - Non-PPR, PPR and QB heavy (start 2 or 6 point pass TDs). They are done by hand evaluating every player individually, not just applying something automated to it. We are always reviewing what we do and how we do it and we will always look at things like that. But for now, that is why we would rather give you the 3 kinds of drafts all done by hand that has accuracy in what we believe rather than just making a list that makes you think it is customized for you when it really is not and is less accurate than you realize. Delicious_bass
Is there a way to generate a Top 200 list with Huddle projections using my league's scoring settings? I believe you can put your scoring into MyHuddle and then get a custom projection sheet covering RB/WR/TE together. That may do the kind of "ordering" that would help to give you an idea of performance across positions if that's what you're looking for. Might be worth a look. As Det and DMD said, though, a list really is tough to accurately come up with... Edited August 28, 2012 by Delicious_bass
