LosGatosEnFuegos
Over 4 weeks, Avery's stats are: Catches - Targets 3 - 8 @CHI 9 - 10 MIN 2 - 9 JAC 3 - 8 GBP Any Indy homers have some info on what the difference was week 2? Luck is looking this guy's way consistently, but the catches just aren't there. Are these legitimate opportunities that Avery's wasting, or is he not getting separation and Luck's trying to force it to him? Do you think we can expect him to start improving those percentages and maintain the targets going forward? Or is he just going to be a 3 catch guy no matter how many chances he gets? White lightning
I would expect Avery to have a nice game this week at the Jets. Especially considering the Jets will do everything in their power to shut down Wayne.
CaptainHook
Against Green Bay, he had a 30 yard-ish end zone look where the defender grabbed his arm and he couldn't get a second hand on the ball. I think he would have come up with it had he not been interfered with. Of course there was no call from the refs. The DB did a great job because it was completely shielded from his view. Luck also barely overthrew Avery on a deep bomb in the second half that was wide open. Just missed him. He was close to having two more TD catches. Avery is getting more looks that TY Hilton, and as defenses continue to roll coverages Wayne's way, I could see him having some more pretty solid outings.
