devildog0311
I haven't seen any of the Jets games this year but looking at the stats, both Jets RB's aren't killing it. Are they just not that great, is it the O-line, or a little of both? I know the Texans weren't happy to see Grimes go. So is there any chance he gets to tote the ball anytime soon? Picked him up in a dynasty league and would like to see what he can do!
DMD
He was inactive two weeks ago but active on Monday night but never had a carry. I would guess he cannot just step in and know how to block so may still take some time to see if he gets a shot.
Bronco Billy
Some discussion about Grimes and the Jets' RB situation here: link The Jets acquired Grimes just 15 days ago, and that was just 12 days before their last game, so expecting him to just step in, learn the O and bypass both Greene and Powell in that short of a time period is just unrealistic. We've also seen that Ryan is extremely loath to admit a mistake by changing out starters even if they are mediocre on their best day (ie - Sanchez). It's going to take some patience with Grimes before we could see any impact, but it could pay some nice dividends for what right now is a very tiny investment - which is the whole crux of acquiring Grimes in the first place. He's a roll of the dice with a hope for a yo 11. Edited October 10, 2012 by Bronco Billy
