70% of the reason I signed up again for the huddle was for "commentary from the edge". It might have been nice if they let us know. No Rat next year I'm moving on. Damm...Tuesday mornings are going to blow. Come on Kevin, Does it take days to write 2 paragraphs? Man up!

 

 

Seriously, its about 12 hours for me to write the column. There are these things called rough drafts, where the column isn't all that funny. And there are re-writes, and re-writes and re-writes. And I generally am working on it through Monday Night Football, and only submit it about midnight or so my time. After that, and a 15 hour television day on Sunday, my eyes can't even function properly. I spend Tuesdays with a "hangover" so I'm not worth a Lindsay Lohan for that day either. That's 3 days devoted to football. I've done it. But I can't do it right now.

 

Yeah, I could have pared it down, mailed it in and given you my second best. But instead I manned up and quit. It was all really in your best interest.

I'm late to comment here but just want to say, Kevin, that you have always been my favorite and a primary reason I subscribe to The Huddle. You say that you were "rough as pumice" to start but I beg to differ. You rocked, IMHO, from the get go - I remember when you were just posting here on the Forum and I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, certainly understand that you have other obligations besides <gasp> football. I hope that you will be able to at least contribute from time to time and maybe, eventually, come back full time.
