MikeFL25
I am torn at who I should start this week. Normally Julio and Alshon are no-brainers, but the Bears offense seems to be coming off a bad week and Alshon has a tough matchup against NE. Julio is also coming off a minor injury and also has a tough matchup against DET. I have Baldwin who seems to have an easy matchup against a weak Carolina secondary, and Sanu who has a decent matchup against Baltimore. AJ Green was a DNP for today, so I don't know what to do with him. What is the best play here? Stick with Alshon and Julio? Sub in Baldwin and/or Sanu? Roll with Green and hope he starts? My Flex right now is J. Bell...should I swap him with one of my WRs? Thanks in advance for your replies.
chuck_noles
I would stick with Julio and Alshon. Bears are going to have to throw to stay in this game.
MikeFL25
Yeah, I would be kicking myself if Julio or Alshon had big games, but Baldwin and Sanu have great matchups this week. What about flex? Should I keep Joique Bell in there or sub him out for Baldwin or Sanu?
Warped Allstar
Stick with Bell at Flex. Atlanta sucks. Detroit will be running a lot. Which also means Atlanta will be passing to catch up, Julio should have a decent game. I would probably lean towards Baldwin over Alshon. tdybaz
Yeah I'd stick with your current lineup... you'd kick yourself more if you benched one of them and they went off
MikeFL25
Yeah I'd stick with your current lineup... you'd kick yourself more if you benched one of them and they went off That's true, its still a question I'm struggling with. Jeffrey has been absolutely great for me all season, but Baldwin's matchup plus his breakout game last week have me very enticed to give him the start. I would also consider benching Julio *GASP* with his limited practice status this week coming off injury, and his tough matchup against Detroit. From what I am seeing though, I should just stick with Julio and Alshon, and keep faith that they can be matchup-resistant, as they have been most of the season? I could always put in Baldwin at flex, but as Warped pointed out, Detroit will probably run J. Bell a lot, and he's sure to get more touches than Bush. tdybaz
Julio often has limited practice with his foot in previous years, and plays fine. you're overthinking it, plus with Baldwin I would want him to play well another week before inserting him ahead of proven fantasy superstars Jones or Jeffery. And yeah, keep Bell in your flex, Bush might not even play with means even more touches
Boilerduff
Yea, I would roll Alshon and Julio. You are overthinking it.
MikeFL25
Thanks for the advice, I'll stick with Julio and Alshon for this week. Thanks!
fruityloop516
I would actually not start Julio. Atlanta's offense is going downhill fast, and facing one of the best pass-rushing defenses in the league that offensive line is going to get mauled. It's less about Julio and more about Matt Ryan, they cannot protect him. Stick with Joique, Atlanta's defense is practically invisible. If AJ doesn't play (which looks likely), I'd say start Sanu.
