rahyde88
According to Ian Rapoport paid time away doesn't count as discipline. So he now has to go through the discipline process and then is subject to a 6 game suspension.. doesn't sound like he will be back this year so trade him now if you can. I just got a trade through earlier today of AP and McKinnon for TY Hilton. Act fast before word gets out. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-around-the-nfl/0ap3000000423880/Will-Adrian-Peterson-return-to-the-field-in-2014
isleseeya
I don't buy it yet because I don't think anyone knows or has the answer . What I am saying is I don't think anyone has made a decision yet so not sure how anyone can claim 6 game suspension I think decision is made next week with fact that a decision has not actually been made yet . Just imho
TheBakedOne
I think that report is BS also. Six games is for Domestic Violence first time offense. Peterson's plea deal was one misdemeanor count of reckless injury to a child. If that constitutes a 6 game ban which would be the domestic violence ban the NFL is opening themselves up to a dizzying array of lawsuits i would say. cardsfan987
Even if he gets a six game suspension, I don't see how they couldn't agree to say he has time served and fine him for the games he was paid. Agreeing to go on the exempt list helped the NFL stay out of the spotlight through all of this and was voluntary from Peterson. If players know they'll go on the list and then be suspended after, why would anyone agree to go on it in the future.
tdybaz
Yep, the NFL is shooting themselves in the foot if they don't work with Peterson in this regard, when he agreed to go on the exempt list and take the spotlight off of them
