RLochridge
In a 10 team standard scoring league with 6 pts per passing TD do you still wait on a QB or go ahead and take Rodgers or Luck in the second round?
Big Country
6 pt passing TDs have very little effect on the overall value of QBs. So, if you are the kind of owner that takes a QB early (or the rest of your league settings make QBs valuable), you still would. If you are the kind that prefers to wait (or the rest of your league settings keep QB values fairly "standard"), you still should. 6 pt passing TDs on their own does very little to change strategy. RLochridge
I typically dont take a QB early but I have a feeling QBs are going to go early in this league. QBs also get 1 point for every 20 yards instead of 25 yards on top of the 6 pt TDs instead of 4 pts.

Luck/Rodgers went in the 2nd, which is no surprise. The next QB off the board went in the 4th. Then the run with 4 in the 5th Then 1 each in the 6th and 7th 3 in the 8th 1 in the 9th(first backup QB taken) Other than the top 2 guys, you really can afford to wait and anyone taking a QB earlier is just letting more value come to you. At least that is my feeling toward it this year.
RLochridge
Ya if I dont get Rodgers or Luck at a decent value I am waiting till the end of the draft to get a QB
