Macksimus
...and he took advantage of it (CMix, watch and learn)! The kid has exploded in his last two games. Now the question is how big of a role will he have once Forte comes back. He's definitely a must-own handcuff at this point.
tazinib1
I think his break out will start the process for Fortes departure in 2016

buddahj
Maybe Forte's knee injury takes longer to heal now?
pun
I sincerely hope they just give Forte the rest of the year off so Langford can just be the feature back rest of season.

dougsul
Well when L Bell came back, D Williams was basically benched.

Wbolin9
I had Forte and Langford, but dropped Langford for Starks. Oops.
Boy Named Suh
Full discosure, I am an MSU alum, and probably biased. I was stoked on the Big 10 RB class this year.Coleman, Gordon, and Abdullah all coming in to starting roles, but it sucked that Langford had to sit behind Forte, because I knew he could be better than the other three. He had 11 straight 100+ yard games to finish his MSU career. He has a great combination of speed and power. I am stoked for this. Gurley and Karlos Williams have outperformed all of the B1G RBs, but it is great to see Langford make the most of his chance. Between him and Le'veon Bell, MSU is being represented by RBs well right now. I still say that Coleman will have a great carreer too. gilthorp
Langford played RB, CB, WR, RB at MSU - he has low mileage. As far as Forte, I expect the Bears to make him a 2 year offer at about 8M/year. They can say they made the offer, and wanted to keep him - but someone will give the 3 year 9M that he'll want and he's good as gone. I have no plans to move Langford from my D/TS this year, but he looks to have a very bright future.
