Guest Lee
New to this website. Is there information on how to use the tiered cheat sheet during drafts. For example...do you take a tier 2 TE before a tier 3 RB or WR? Is the thought process to always take the higher tiered player regardless of position? Link to comment
DMD
Tiers exist mainly to allow a fast look at where position depth is at. They are groupings of players with similar production/outlook/risk. There is no hard and fast as to when you take any player in any position, much less a tier. But within a draft, if you see Tier almost drained - say like tier 2 TE but you are already into tier 4 wide receivers, you should probably consider taking a tier 2 - starting - tight end over wide receiver depth. There is no science behind tiers, it is just a simple way to show how players group within positions. Link to comment
