He is one of the worst "safeties" in the NFL. Opposing QBs are drooling to throw against him in coverage. He's really NOT a safety. He's a terribly undersized and slow LB with bad hands and a big mouth. His most elite skill is his impressive and non-stop self-promoting. His Jets teammates were mostly happy to see him go per an intern who worked there who was one of my students. A complete douchebag on and off the field.
