Gunther
Well, it certainly appears that NE is handling the Jets pretty well. I wonder if Chad will have a statement for the media today. I have not watched the game, but I can imagine the media vultures are circling the stadium right now. Bill Swerski
Not that I disagree with what Chad said, but he simply doesn't have the clout to take on the NY media like that. He gets paid A LOT of money to put up with their crap and hasn't even played a full 16-game season in his five-year career. Rovers
After I saw the first two play calls on the Jets first possession, I said in the Skybox that they were going to lose. The problem is not Pennington, it is Hackett, the VERY offensive coordinator. He pulled the same crap against Pitt, and lost. He let Pennington throw against Seattle, and they won. He went back to the losing strategy.... and lost. Geeze....go figure. If I owned the Jets, I'd fire Hackett right now, and if Hermie had a problem with that, I'd tell him to watch out for the door hitting HIM in the hind quarters too! The Jets have the talent, but lousy coaching. Hermie is nothing more than a rah-rah guy, he can't come up with any sort of winning game plan. He is a play not to lose coach..... and we all know what happens to them.... they lose.
