Guest Jedi
I'm a bit late with this post, but I missed last weekend's routing by Michigan. Is ND that bad or is Michigan that good. What happened to Jones/Grant... stuffed?
Chavez
I'd say rather than one being that good or one being that bad, I think it's both - ND is a solid team that can't pass, and Michigan is a legit national title favorite, though I have a feeling that Navarre is going to turn back into a pumpkin at some point this season. When a one-dimensional team meets a defensive powerhouse, bad things happen to it.
Dragon
ND needs to start preparing for next year aka Brady Quinn. There O-line is inexperienced and just not up to snuff. Holiday s/b moved to another position. The defense was supposed to be their strong suit this year, and they are simply underachieving. It will take a couple of years to get Willingham's type of players in place.
Kansas State 2000
Everyone talks about this or that team being overrated ... Notre Dame is the most OVERRATED team EVER every year.
Dragon
Kansas State 2000: Everyone talks about this or that team being overrated ... Notre Dame is the most OVERRATED team EVER every year. I will give you that the media tends to overhype the Irish, especially after a good season. However, I think your statement is both biased and an overstatement. I don't think many experts were picking them to do what they did last year, do you? Also, they are subject to a great deal of national exposure and scrutiny, and with the schedule they play year in and year out, it is difficult to have success unless you are a top caliber team. That being said, they look AWFUL this year, but as I said, give Willingham a couple years.
