Menudo Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 This is just my opinion, I have seen no facts on this yet, but I think he ends up with the Steelers again next year. Coming into this season Plex and Kendrell Bell were their two big names without contracts. When Plex didn't show for the 'voluntary' workouts and such, I was convinced that Kendrell would be re-signed. Then Plex came to camp focused and in great shape and Kendrell Bell has barely played a game all year. That coupled with the fact that Larry Foote has been a phenomenal linebacker for the Steelers, makes me almost certain that Bell is shown the door. Now, the issue is getting Plex signed. He is very important to the offense, and despite the fact that they still won, it was evident that something was missing when he was absent. He will demand a big salary, and there is a chance that he gets franchised, but franchising him because of his position and the money that is made at that position will still cost a heavy tag for the Steelers.
