DMD
From ESPN Once Romeo Crennel officially accepts the Browns' head coaching job -- a post he's expected to take after the Patriots play in the Super Bowl -- he is expected name Maurice Carthon, the Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator, as the Browns offensive coordinator, a Cowboys source told the Dallas Morning News. The source told the paper the Cowboys recently gave Cleveland permission to interview Carthon, who has a year remaining on his contract. According to the paper, as the Browns' offensive coordinator, Carthon would call the plays, a responsibility coach Bill Parcells handled himself in Dallas. The Browns defense certainly gets an upgrade with Crennel but it will be interesting to see what Carthon does if that happens.

Czarina
Carthon is a Parcells guy from way back, right? Would be interesting if it's true that Pepper Johnson makes the trip too. It would be a whole crew of former Parcells guys in Cleveland.
Patsfan04
Crennel, Belichick, Weis, Pepper, etc. are all Parcells guys. So, typically, someone like Crennel will try to hire Parcells/Belichick guys.
