  1. As opposed to $100 in a 12 man league? I mean if you’re looking for reasons to be contrarian then sure you’ll find them.
  2. It's the same system that nearly every other Huddle league has, are those out of whack? AOTAOP is a 16 man $100 league and has had bids of $150 on AJ Brown, $110 on Tee Higgins, and $90 on Deebo Samuel. It's no different than a 2000 square foot home going for $200k in Mansfield, Ohio but the same home would sell for $800k in San Fran. Different costs of living, different average incomes, different housing markets. You can't expect them all to be the same.
  3. In a $50 league you're closer to right. But again, this is a $100 league that has had far less RFA history and spending than established leagues have. For reference, FDSB is an established 12 man $50 a year league: FDSB average owner cash - $37 AFL average owner cash - $143 Almost 4x the cash reserves. FDSB bid on LB's Mosley, C.J. NYJ LB 7 Edwards, T.J. CHI LB 18 David, Lavonte TBB LB 5 Morrow, Nicholas BUF LB 6 Davis, Demario NOS LB 2 Thompson, Shaq CAR LB 5 White, Kyzir ARI LB 4 Singleton, Alex DEN LB 6 Overshown, DeMarvion DAL LB 2 Kendricks, Eric DAL LB 3 Jordan Hicks went down in week 10 with injury and this is how Pace filled in (worth noting that he straight up stole this role from the prior year's early round pick Brian Asamoah): 11 17.00 at Broncos 37.2 32 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 6 3 1 12 19.00 vs Bears 31.9 19 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 7 1 2 1.0 13 Bye Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 14 26.50 at Raiders 30.0 9 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 7 1 6 1 1.0 1 15 16.00 at Bengals 29.5 7 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 7 2 16 9.24 vs Lions 30.2 10 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 3 1 1 17 17.00 vs Packers 27.5 3 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 5 7 18 14.00 at Lions 30.2 10 Huntington Beach Longhorns - TS 5 4 Hicks is now gone and Pace is wearing the green dot. You don't think a guy like that is worth the equivalent of Nick Morrow/Shaq Thompson or and aging Lavonte David?
  4. Nothing broken about it. We've had 6 years of $100 reloads. The first 3-4 years had all guys on original contracts so no spending there, DTS guys being on taxi for 2-3 plus another 4-5 initial contracts, and Devy players having an additional year or two on top of that to bake. Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Saquan Barkley, Kamara, Mixon, Jonathan Taylor, DJ Moore, Mike Williams, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Roquan Smith, none of those have have hit RFA. Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, Fred Warner are just now having contracts expire. Plus we have a virtual lockdown FT rule that's cheap as hell to keep the top dollar guys. It's how free markets work, supply/demand/cash flow. Josh Allen hit RFA two years ago because of a bad initial contract and he got a $113 bomb dropped or the same reason. We entered RFA with an average of $143 per owner so either we can "overpay" for average/above average guys or we can suck wind and take $250 into next year.
  5. Like I said a whole lot of money out there and not a lot to spend it on ...
