Avernus
I myself picked Taylor (3.04) and KJ was the next pick. I have to see for myself if Jones is playing in a system that suits him. I do think he has the more talent between the two. Don't forget that Steven Jackson is going sooner because Martz isn't around. Martz is around KJ. How can you not move him down if Jackson is moved up? because Martz will throw the ball to his RB's...plus he doesn't have Holt and Bruce to throw to....he just has Roy Williams and a bunch of question marks... I view them as neck and neck right now and it's not a bad tiebreaker if you ask me...lol... pick the player you will see every week so you can evaluate his performance.. Savage Beatings
Looks like in most 12 team leagues he will be a definite 3rd round pick (as one of the earlier #2 RBs taken). That's the right place for him.
Avernus
lol all I need to hear is that he's doing well in the offense and "catching passes".... not being "out of shape" or "having trouble with plays".... I already liked him and any more positive news is good news to me..
MikesVikes
So as a Viking fan you took Taylor first? As a Lion fan I know I am taking KJ first, no question. As a Viking fan, I'm not all that excited about Taylor. But he's playing on a team that is designed for a grind it out style of an offense. He will catch as many passes as KJ but I suspect more than KJ. I really love the addition of Tony Richardson and Hutchinson and the return of Birk to help the running game. The coaching staff signed Taylor when FA first began because he fits into the system. Kevin Jones was already on the Lions team when the coaching staff was brought in and they will be tweaking the offense to their liking and not KJ's. It's been mentioned that Jones has looked good in camp. When was the last time a Lions player didn't look good in TC, but before the regular season started? I've also heard that Charles Rogers looks good in camp. Do you want to play that game again? Edited August 2, 2006 by MikesVikes
