mhayhurst
DeMeco Ryans or Will Witherspoon for the rest of the year (projections) Who would you rather have? Re-Draft League. Witherspoon was good at Car. and now at STL he put up mad numbers in week1, but Ryans, man I was blown away. Darin, you were dead on about that Sleeper pick. I'm wanting to lean towards Ryans, but any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Cyclones
Ryans has so much potential I am thinking about trading Ray Ray and using Ryans the rest of the year. He plays on a bad team that will get run on alot, and he plays nickel and dime packages as well. I'd take Ryans over Witherspoon.
mhayhurst
Thanks Cyclones! Would you start Ryans over D. Edwards? He seemed so lack luster last night. edit: not planning on dropping D. Edwards, but just wanting to know your thoughts on Ryans over Edwards. darin3
There have been plenty of people pimpin' Ryans (including Sarge and myself) for quite some time now. He's in a great situation there in Houston. I would lean towards playing the vet Witherspoon next week, though. Ryans and his Texan defensive mates are going to be on the field a lot, but will be thoroughly confused by the Colts offense. Spoon, however, will be facing a surprisingly effective running attack of the Niners. I think the value is with Spoon this week.

Ryans is just one of those players that finds the ball and makes a play. And even though I agree the Colts have a lot going on offensively, Ryans will still make his plays. gilthorp
Long term, I'll take Will over Ryans at this point....if I had to choose today.
