BIG SACK

Reggie limped off in second half. The Saints owner (Chargers owner too...Tomlinson played also) must be cringing all game. They have to live their lives but it is a big risk for the respective franchises whenever their players take part in such an event.

Reggie Bush, RB NO

News: Saints RB Reggie Bush left the NBA All-Star Celebrity game in Las Vegas on Friday after spraining his right ankle. Bush remained on the ground for several minutes until limping off the court under his own power. He went to the bench and was in obvious pain holding his right ankle. Minutes later he got up and walked to the locker room. He still had a noticeable limp.

Analysis: First, Drew Brees dislocates his elbow in the Pro Bowl and now Bush injures his ankle in an exhibition game. It has been an unkind start to the offseason for the Saints. Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson was also playing in the basketball game, but was immediately taken out after Bush went down with the injury. The trainers have diagnosed the injury as a mild sprain. Bush is expected to be off the draft boards early in Fantasy leagues next season after compiling 629 rushing yards, 902 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns as a rookie in 2006. The injury should not affect his draft status next season and he should be ready to go when the season starts up.
