Robash
Incorrect, the correct answer is............. What is "How far under the salary cap are the Oakland Raiders" On another front, I asked around to find out what the Raiders' cap figure is right now. Remember, when the D-Hall trade went down, I guessed the team might have a problem finding some money for CB Nnamdi Asomugha, whom the Giants like very much. Well, I got it for you. As of today, Oakland has roughly a whopping... ...half a mil under the cap. Now, that figure is the top 51 on their current roster and they'll be able to shave some of that (perhaps by cutting RB LaMont Jordan), but it doesn't include the money they'll have to pay their rookies (Darren McFadden maybe?). Plus, you need more than $500k to operate during the season. Does this mean the Giants will trade for Asomugha? No more than the Saints trading for Shockey right now. But it's definitely a situation that bears watching this came fromt he same blog that the Shocky to Saints rumor came from...crazy. so like Mike Garafolo thinks...Jordan the first cap casualty, or does someone get traded? and if they are this cap fudged now...whats gonna happen when all those backloaded contracts start comming up in 09,10,11? This team seems like the redskins of the AFC...only worse
budlitebrad
They can get rid of an RB or two.

Robash
They can get rid of an RB or two. will that help considering they will be getting a top 5 draft pick from now until Elijah Archibald Manning Jr. is dictating who he will and wont play for before the 2035 NFL draft? in all seriousness...do they have an offense to improve from last year with McFadden? J Russell D McFadden J Fargas M Bush J Walker R Curry (eff this oil and vinegar for giving uva the finger in high school) D Carter Z Miller Edited March 26, 2008 by Robash
budlitebrad
They better hope DMC can average 200 ypg if they continue to give up 150 on defense.
