godtomsatan Posted March 28, 2008 Share Posted March 28, 2008 At the start of the 3rd quarter, you would then choose whether to receive the kickoff or decide which endzone to defend (most of the time it would be receiving the ball), then your opponent decides the option you did not take (most of the time being the endzone). So the coin toss as it is now, means you choose what you want for the first half, and the opposite happens in the 2nd half? Or the loser of the coin toss gets to choose to start the 2nd half?
