Sammy D.
Has Pittman locked in the #2 spot or is it still Leonard?? I have Jackson and want to back him up, just in case.
darin3
Honestly, I think the Rams would use a combination of both Pittman and Leonard should SJax get injured.
Sammy D.
So if you had to choose.................
The Holy Roller
Hard to tell with Leonard being hurt but he would be my choice if I had to pick. But it is moot anyways as the Rams are going to inhale vigorously this year.
darin3
So if you had to choose................. I would choose...... a backup on another team. Really. I don't know what the Rams would do in that situation. Both guys have shown promise in certain skill areas, but neither one is anything close to a featured back. I'd say Pittman would have the most "upside" because Leonard really just operates as a situational back.

Just because a feature back produces doesn't mean a single back up does. Â I did handcuff Pittman myself but don't expect much from him. Sammy D.
Thanks guys, as always, much insight from the huddlers here
gilthorp
I am not a Rams insider, but from what I understand, they've been giving more looks to Leonard as a FB, which means Pittman would be the pure "backup". How the two are used, I don't know, but Pittman is the backup IMO.
budlitebrad
It's definitely Pittman.
