NYCDOG
It sounds like Jerry Porter will be available this week or next week at the latest. Given the Jags bad luck with injuries on the O-line and the shorter time Garrard will likely have to make his reads, which of these three WRs will be the most productive this season? In other words, who is the deep threat vs. the possession guy vs. the short and intermediate route go-to receiver. It would seem that Garrard won't have the time to throw deep that often and therefore the deep threat would seem less valuable. Whose style best fits a poor pass blocking line? With key injuries at WR already this season, there are not a lot of #1WR left on the WW already after week 1. I can think of only two off the top of my head: JAX and MIA (not seeing much production here from any WR). As such, getting the right one at JAX would seem relatively important. Thoughts? Rileyrott
I'd like to know what others think as well as I have Reggie, and Jones and Porter are on WW.
ChampSampson
Reggie until proven otherwise. Preseason did not dispel Reggie either.
Bedoman
Williams will be ok and so will MAtt Jones but both have shown they cannot handle #1.....I just have to believe that when Porter gets 100% he will put up the best FF numbers for the JAX WR's

He still has to develop a rapor with Garrard. I did take a flyer on Porter though in one of my leagues and am hoping you are correct. But with the disaster that is now the Jags O-line, I'm very skeptical.
Medal of Honor
I've got Porter and was going to make a similar thread.
Steelhead
I think you are better off getting Patten or Henderson than these chumps. I have Reggie Williams and this close to dropping him for Patten.
NYCDOG
Yeah, I had to pick up Patten anyway because of Colston's injury, but now my WR depth is questionable. I have to believe one of these three will br somewhat productive. Just don't know which one. Any homers have any insight?

NYCDOG
Check the other Matt Jones thread. I did, except that thread only talks about Matt Jones and not how he and his style compare to Porter or Williams, particularly with a questionable offensive line. I have Reggie Williams and this close to dropping him for Patten. I did just that, dropped Reggie Williams for Patten. I know it's just one week, but given that Colston was out for a while it seemed worth a shot. I even have him penciled in my lineup over Holt. (Wayne is my top WR and we only start 2.)
