efi4eye
Turner is the #3 ranked back in my league. Here are the rankings: ADP Portis Turner MBIII Gore TJ Forte Jacobs CJ DeAngelo WIlliams Slaton LT Ronnie Brown MJD Lynch So.... it depends a lot on your scoring obviously. My league rewards HEAVILY for big days. Points really rack up once you go over 100 yds or get a long TD. Just for reference, the average score in a game is 150ish, and I scored 299 points my first week, with Michael Turner racking up 96 by himself. I've since traded him. PPR 1pt per 10 rush yds and a 5pt bonus at 100 rush yds 2pts per 10 rec/pass yds and a 10pt bonus at 100 rec/pass yds rush TD's are worth 6-9pts depending on the distance rec/pass TD's are worth 9-12pts depending on the distance -2 for any turnover QB scoring is similar except you switch pass stats for rush stats and QB's don't get any points until they hit 200 yds....they get 10 when they hit 200 and then 1pt every additional 10 pass yds...and WR scoring is the same except you swap rush stats for rec stats.... Jrick35
"simple math" isn't the argument...my point being....what scoring system would have the top 8 RB's less than 10 pts within eachother?...but what you said just explained it....I haven't seen a scoring system that had all these guys so close to one another... and my scoring rewards players for long distance TD's and for performing out of position IE: a RB who throws or catches...plus the TD's are worth more in this case as well... I didn't mean anything by the simple math remark, just pointing out that the possibility was there. The main reason for my post was that I figured you had to be awarding bonuses of some sort to have Turner ranked so low. And in my mind bonuses can often skews a players actual value., case in point Turner has 232 Touches for 982 combined yds with 9 TD's and no lost fumbles Barber has 235 Touches for 1082 combined yds with 8 TD's and 2 lost fumbles (These stats do not include 2 point conversions or passes if there are any) Those stats are very close to equal and in my league Barber is 3 points ahead of Turner but in your League Barber is 67 points ahead of Turner. Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with bonuses or anything like that. I am just saying that they skew a players actual value. There is not a 67 point difference ib stats between these two players

There is not a 67 point difference ib stats between these two players definitely....but when you see the scoring for my league, it explains it.... Reggie Bush was still in the top 5, 3 weeks after being injured because of a few games where he went berserk.... there's still another month of fantasy anyways before the playoffs arrive....stuff will shake out to make things even more confusing between now and then anyways....so I doubt a lot of the players we see in the top 10 are still there by that point anyways... LayLow
He is for real. We can say this now that the season is almost over and he has produced vs some tougher defenses unlike early on in the year.
Randall
He is for real. We can say this now that the season is almost over and he has produced vs some tougher defenses unlike early on in the year. Matt Ryan is too as is the defense. I'm happy for Falcons fans after that Michael Vick nightmare. Edited December 10, 2008 by Randall

cre8tiff
He's still a beast today. Amazing. I sat him for Portis today. I'm regretting the decision, but don't know how I could have gone any other way.
