Ten V Jax

I really hope Tennessee just keeps rolling. They could bury the Jags this week. Might as well keep giving wild card teams losses, since the division race is pretty much over. I think it's hilarious that the Jags have spent all these years chasing the Colts, and when we do finally falter, they STILL can't win the division.

I am shocked alot of my buddies are saying this is the week Ten will lose. I just don't see it. Jax has not been playing good football and their defense isn't feared by anyone anymore.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't definitively say JAX can pull the upset but it's not far fetched...

-This is the only back-to-back road game TEN will have all season

-The CHI game showed the TEN D is susceptible to versatile RBs... paging MJD

-TEN's D is banged up... Bulluck did not look like himself last week and they need Vanden Bosch to be healthy. Bulluck will likely play through the pain but Vanden Bosch doesn't look good again this week.

-Garrard > Grossman

-Division rivals... these are the type of games where logic can be turned on its head

I wouldn't vest complete credence to this but this is always something I like to at least consider... it's what thousands of nerdy computer simulations of the game say...

AccuScore gives Jacksonville a 53 percent chance of upsetting the Titans. Tennessee is holding Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor to just under 100 yards. The key to the Jags upset is David Garrard limiting interceptions. When he has no more than 1 interceptions the Jags win 58 percent of the time. But the Custom Game Simulator indicates the Jags would lose by an average of 6 points if Garrard has multiple interceptions. The Jaguars defense has been a major disappointment this season, but if they can hold Chris Johnson to under 75 rushing yards they have a 65 percent chance of winning. However, if Johnson has over 75 yards the Titans win a solid 72 percent of simulations.

Safe bet is obviously TEN but I'd say a JAX upset is much more than just a remote possibility. It could actually happen.

Tenn is not gonna go undefeated, they will lose eventually. I would not be surprised if Jax bounces back this week and plays well. If that is the case then I think they can (dare I say will) win the game. Tenn is gonna throw up a stinker soon enuf ( see NYG vs Clev.)_
