keggerz
WIN A FREE HUDDLE MEMBERSHIP! All you have to do is post your IDP Question here and that will get you chance at the end of the year to win a FREE HUDDLE MEMBERSHIP for next year. Those that have posted questions in the week 1 thru week 4 threads will also be entered for a chance to win the FREE MEMBERSHIP! Your question does not have to be used in the weekly IDP INTERACTIVE article to qualify for a chance to win the free membership. All you have to do is post your question here and please follow the guidelines below. IDP INTERACTIVE Week 13 "IDP INTERACTIVE" is a new weekly content piece that will allow people in the forum to ask questions regarding their fantasy teams and receive a very in depth answer. For this to work and work well questions will need to include some specific information so that all angles can be looked at and covered. The more info the better! What needs to be included with your questions(Trade questions, WDIS, waiver acquisitions etc): 1. Your question.(can be about who to start, trade advice, waiver advice, roster composition, how to assess value of offensive players in a deal etc) 2. Link to your league will be very helpful. 3. Roster(s) (including opponents for match-up reasons) 4. Starting requirements 5. Scoring This is where questions for week 13 are to be submitted. The catch is that you will have to check the paid content area on Saturdays to see which question(s) were selected to be answered that week. I (most likely Darin too) will make every effort to answer the questions that are posted in this thread, they just wont be as in depth as the "IDP INTERACTIVE" answers will be. Here is to hoping that everyone finds this new content an added value to our current IDP content. If you have any recommendations that may help to make this an even better feature by all means your input is greatly appreciated.
Robash
My question is which out of these DL offer up the best long term prospects? The obvious choices to me would be Grant and McBride, who was having a nice season till his injury, but are there any others worthy of a multiple year deal here? Also Calais Campbell could be thrown into that mix as he is stashed away on my Taxi Squad. I have a couple extra draft picks this year, but im hesitant to use them on a "low scoring" position when this rebuilding team has glaring holes elsewhere. Id give you the league link, but DW2 requires you to login to view anything i believe. Patterson, Mike PHI DT 56.0 $2.00 Edwards, Ray MIN DE 65.5 $1.00 Grant, Charles NOS DE (I) 74.0 $1.00 McBride, Turk KCC DE (I) 73.0 $1.00 Montgomery, Mike GBP DE 69.5 $1.00 Richardson, Jay OAK DE 75.5 $1.00 Relavant Scoring (minus TDs) Fumble Recoveries (from Opponent) - 2 points each Forced Fumbles - 3 points each Interceptions Caught - 3 points each Passes Defensed - 1.5 points each Tackles - 2 points each Assists - 1 point each Sacked a QB - 1.5 point for every .50 Safeties - 3 points each
Footballjoe
32 Team with standard scoring i.e 2 pts tackle, 1 asst tackle, 2 pts sack, int FF etc. I have 3 questions on WDIS. D Lineman (need to start 3) I am thinking Warren and Carter (if he plays) but at a complete loss for the 3rd one. Kenyon Coleman vs Broncos Ty Warren vs Steelers Andre Carter vs Giants Tambi Hali vs Raiders Tommy Kelly vs Chiefs LBer (need to start 4) Will start: Tatupu vs Cowboys Crowder vs Rams McIntosh vs Giants Brandon Johnson vs Ravens What if Fletcher does not play. Should I start H.B. Blades? I don't like Crowders matchup at all but I would hate to sit him. CB (need to start 2) Along with Cromartie do I start Springs or Rogers vs the Giants? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help. ESPN is reporting that Andre Carter is a Game Time Decision....you are lucky that he plays in an early game and all your other choices are in late games....Considering that Carter is fighting a foot injury I would probably keep him on the bench and play your other options....best case scenario is that Carter plays some limited snaps and that isnt what you need from a DL in the playoff game you are in....the reason I mentioned the foot is that a foot injury is more then likely going to limit his explosivness off the snap which will probably keep him from getting to the QB.... I would play Warren, Hali (back to his old DE position) and TKelly IF and only if Fletcher is rule OUT would I play Blades...sure the Rams are struggling on O but they have still given up an average of 6 tackles/game to MLB/ILBs this year and in the past 3 weeks they have given up 11 tackles to Eric Barton, 8 to Patrick Willis and 4 to Urlacher(who has been inconsistent this year) as for the CBs I would proabably flip a coin and while its in the air whoever you are hoping it would be is who I would play Edited November 29, 2008 by keggerz

Fwiw, I didnt address Calais Campbell directly but my last sentence did....make sure you take a look at "Defensive Scheme Matters" Edited November 29, 2008 by keggerz
Robash
Fwiw, I didnt address Calais Campbell directly but my last sentence did.... I had full intentions on watching him during the Cardinals/Giants game last week...but i was piss drunk before i even walked into the stadium. The Shout House in Westgate was force feeding $1 32 once beers down my throat.

Let's just say that Justin Smith is the exception rather then the rule when it comes to a 3-4 DE being productive...i wouldn't hold my breath on Campbell
