Kid Cid
linkie no workie Try again. The f'ing power company killed the electricity to my house by accident for the second day running. They've been putting up some new poles in the area and it seems they have all newbies doing the work.
twiley
I've had many great values from Gigondas. Very strong and appealing and more robust than CDPs. I'd say they're very masculine as opposed to the silky seductive wines of CDP. I've also had some decent rosé too so if you ever come across one pick it up. If you want even more rustic check out the appellation just south of Gigondas - Vacqueyras.

The guys over on a wine site I visit recommend the Vacqueryas appellation as having very good value right now. I now have to go forth in search of. That's a good characterization of this wine as masculine. It was bolder than the CDP but not rough around the edges.
