whomper
I am trying to help our new commish manually set a 10 team schedule. We play 13 weeks. Our rules and tie breakers are set up so we play our division twice and out of division once. We have 2 divisions of 5 teams each. The way we want to lay it out the first 4 games and the last 4 games are against your division and the 5 games in between are against the out of division teams. My friend said some magazines or sites have formulas laid out to guide you when setting these. I was hoping someone had access to that and could help. We would want you to start the season and finish the season against the same team in your division Teams Div 1 A B C D E Div 2 F G H I J So as an example Team A would look like this Week 1 Div game A vs B Week 2 Div game A vs C Week 3 Div game A vs D Week 4 Div game A vs E Week 5 Out of Div A vs F Week 6 Out of Div A vs G Week 7 Out of Div A vs H Week 8 Out of Div A vs I Week 9 Out of Div A vs J Week 10 Div game A vs E (reverse order or the way the first time team A went through the div) Week 11 Div game A vs D Week 12 Div game A vs C Week 13 Div game A vs B What throws me is with the uneven amount of teams in the division 2 teams play out of division during the weeks everyone else is playing in the division. Anyone have a formula ?

whomper
Nice, also: http://schedules.footballguys.com/ Thanks man. I actually found that in a google search but when I entered the specs it did generate an acceptable schedule but it had the division games randomly scattered throughout 13 weeks . Division games are a big part of our tie breakers so we like them as early and late in the season to have the least amount of bye week interference. Thank you though . i appreciate the link
loaf
not a problem. Our league uses the exact same schedule and BJ busted this one out for me about 2 years ago
