Coach1310
Okay, so I am in a few leagues with different criteria and different cap space and different roster requirements etc.. How do you calculate the value with varying formats? For instance, in one league there are 10 owners, $200 per team and 16 roster spots to fill Another league has 8 owners, 18 roster spots to fill and $300 per owner.. Is there a way to plug criteria in to some kind of formula to come up with a decent value for each player? Also, what % of players are $1 or $2 players in the average auction setting? Thanks for any help.
Chief Dick
I would look on the internet and check FF websites. Here's a good one that has a cheatsheet available that assigns percentages to each player.

What matters most is what you budget is and which players fit into it ( and which players are you willing to overpay for?). Typically, the second half of an auction is mostly minimum bids and by the end may be entirely. You just need to establish where you are willing to put your money and then buying the best players that fit into your budget. Here is an article about how to budget. JUMbotron
I thought this recent ESPN Auction was interesting, gives you another perspective of $ values. JUM
