  1. Irsay needed someone to make coffee around the office until the new crew comes in...
  2. After he tries to hit on Suzy Kolber on national tv while Athenafaced again...
  3. Not to mention, the organization is rebuilding from top to bottom. Time to get rid of Manning, (trade if possible) and rebuild with Luck.
  4. I agree with both of these. I was skeptical about Cam at first too, but I too have to admit I was totally wrong. I think that AJ Green and Dalton may get some votes as well, but they had much more support around them than Cam. He definitely deserves it.
  5. I have to imagine there are teams that would be willing to give up a lot for Peyton's services. Look at the Palmer deal the Raiders made, it would be a huge trade. Just imagine him going to a team like the 49ers or Ravens, instant SB favorites, huge power shift. If he has any say in a deal, I can't imagine him going to a team that would be in a rebuilding mode, or with a coaching staff he doesn't like.
  6. Shanny will bench him next week for sure...
  7. Interesting topic... Circling back to the fantasy angle, since Indy is pretty much a lock to get Luck, how long will his fantasy value be limited due to being behind Manning? I guess there is some concern over if Manning will be there or not, but I can't imagine him not being there for a few years at least. If Barkley goes to Miami or Washington does he get a chance to start right away, and if he does, will he make an impact like Cam Newton and Andy Dalton? So if Barkley doesn't get drafted by the Colts, he may have a chance to make a fantasy impact before Luck, but will he be better?
  8. As much as it pains me to say this, I think the Pats lose this one. The good news is that their schedule is much softer from here on out. They don't stand a chance making it very far in the playoffs (if they make it) with the way the D is playing though.
  9. Agreed, certainly a huge upgrade over McBadd.
  10. He limped off the field, haven't seen him come back in yet.
  11. I have Ponder locked up in my dynasty contract league, would like to see him in a few games this year to get a look at him.
  12. Took me too long to reply, but you have it correct. Hoyer is a servicable back up, Mallett is the guy with the potential...
  13. The tone of the article sounded like Ross was looking for a sure thing. The draft is always a bit of a gamble, although I am sure the sucess Carolina has had this year has opened some eyes, but it is not typically the norm for rookie QB's. I am not sure if Palmer can be considered a franchise QB, he barely cracked the top 20 the last couple years he has played, I think Orton put up better stats. As for the Pats, I assume you are talking about Mallett, I would be surprised to see him go anywhere, never mind within the division. I think the Pats try to keep him around for a bit, but who knows for sure what Belichick is thinking.
  14. I was more or less joking, but on a serious note, who could they get? Very tough to get a good franchise QB...
