  1. Here's to hoping the Cardinals/Chiefs/Broncos pony up for Romo
  2. I think Dixon(210 lbs) falls in line with guys like Warrick Dunn(190 lbs) and Joique Bell(230 lbs). Runs well and catches well. Its hard for me to believe he'll just get the keys this year, but who knows the ravens seem to want to give him every opportunity with Forsett/West looking average and Allen mysteriously missing. Actually scratch that, Dixon is def the next David Johnson and BA should def trade for Dixon
  3. No love for Kenneth Farrow? He's got some wiggle.
  4. I think I drafted Josh Ferguson in all my leagues in the 4thish round area. His college profile reminds me alot of Theo Riddick. I don't have much faith in anybody behind Gore and the Colts love to throw to running backs.
  5. Im not sure how its useless lol while we're at it lets pretend like 5th/6th/7th rounders become starters very often and nfl rumors are always true. Im not saying Howard won't have a chance to compete for touches but as of right now he's behind Langford and Carey who are entering their 2nd and 3rd year. Barring an injury, I just dont see the reps being there for a 5th rounder but if you do then you should probably draft Keith Marshall too.
  6. Here are some stats from reddit(credit to ice1wiz for compiling) concerning Langford vs Matt Jones as the dynasty community seems to love Jones a whole lot more. I don't understand the Langford hate and I feel like he passed my eye test They were selected 9 choices apart in the 2015 draft. Both are projected starters whose teams selected late round competition with talent (Marshall in the 7th for Jones, Howard in the 5th for Langford). Jones averaged 3.4 ypc on 144 totes; Langford 3.6 ypc on 146 carries One complaint of Langford is that he averaged only 3.0 ypc vs "standard" fronts. While I don't have those stats, do see that he averaged 3.4 ypc on 1st down. Jones averaged 2.7 ypc on 1st down. Jones averaged 2.7 ypc over his last 5 games on 59 carries; Langford 4.1 ypc over his last 5 on 58 carries. Jones had 94 yards receiving his last 5 games; Langford 47. Jones caught 19/25 targets for 305 yards (16 ypc); Langford 22/42 targets for 279 yards (14 ypc). Langford was dreadful turning targets into production while Jones was very efficient. Jones scored 3 TDs; Langford 6 TDs. Jones fumbled 5 times; Langford didn't fumble. Jones was last in Football Outsiders efficiency for qualifiers with DVOA of -24% (gained 482 yards but only 382 expected yards); Langford was #10 with a DVOA of 12.2% (gained 537 actual yards but 690 effective yards) Jones turned 10 "and goal" carries into -3 yards and no TDs. Langford turned 10 "and goal" carries into 22 yards and 5 TDs
  7. Im a Perriman fan(reminds me a alot of Julio) and the Ravens have to throw to someone plus its Ozzie who drafted him in the first round. However, I also really like Lockett and the Seahawks showed passing potential with what Baldwin did at the end of the year. I think Lockett is being slightly overvalued in standard leagues and feels more like a high upside WR3 at the moment. I don't think he is WR1 material for his team even if something did happen to Baldwin. I agree that Perriman would be swinging for the fences here.
  8. I don't think Elliot is the consensus 1.1 right now and I don't think he will be even if he is drafted to a favorable situation. WRs have proven more valuable, consistent, and durable in most formats.
  9. Its cool keep perpetuating the philly fan stereotype. Sure lets throw some stats around. Bradford's last three starts 57/85 (67.1%) 4TD 0INT 105.6 Rating Foles last three starts 62/117 (52.9%) 0TD 5INT 48.8 Rating Yes the Oline is his fault. Im not saying it isnt. No there isnt a better receiver on the roster than Maclin or Jackson. Matthews/Agholor/Huff are young and developing. If I was a hiring manager, I would be more inclined to hire people I have worked with because I have a better grasp of their character and work ethic. Im not sure why so much is made of Kelly rostering former players. Kelly has taken the blame for not executing saying something along the lines of when we're not executing we need a better plan and we got it today. Now watch the media pick the eagles to win the division for the next week.
  10. The main problem is the media treats this like a super bowl year but its a transition year. Bradford has shown progress and thats all you can really ask from someone who's shaking off rust, learning a new system, and entering a new organization. Out of the qb option free agents, Im not overly disappointed with this and wouldn't describe the trade as abysmal. Hopefully we can sign him next year for less than 10 million because who else are we going to start. I will describe O line play and planning as abysmal and thats pretty much the story of the season. Thats Kelly's fault. He thought the line was good enough but it isnt. Is that worth firing him? No when you consider those guards would have been rented for a year maybe two anyways and with the exception of the last two games, we were very much in every game with an improved defense(Carrol/Thurmond/Jenkins/Thurmond/Hicks) despite a mistake prone offense(dropped balls/missed kicks/ints). I would have loved to see Maclin still flying but that was a business decision. Im fine with Mcoy for Murray Matthews and Kiko. Ive seen Maxwell play very bad and very well so Im not ready to say he's not a great player but I do think we overpaid. What Im saying is our record could very easily be flipped and the team is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Im not ready to call for his head based off what I've seen this year.
  11. I've been a fan. For all the reasons already mentioned, redraft isnt a great situation but if you're considering him in redraft he's probably better than what you're looking at. In dynasty, he's a good looking hold probably worth a mid-late future 1st based on 3 down back status alone.
  12. I'd agree. Sanchez is Sanchez and hasn't played all year but I really liked how he put some more hustle into the offense.
