QB - 1 pt 20 yds pass, 4 pts TD, -2 INT Volek vs Den - He is real hot, but playing a Den. Def. that was just embarrassed and needing a win. Which Den. D. shows up this week. Volek will have to pass a lot again as they have no running game, but will he get 300 yds + 3 TDs? Collins vs KC - Can't argue against the match up, but KC did play better last week vs Den. Also, he is hurt, and who knows how bad for sure? Also, does he implode at Arrowhead vs the pressure, or keep up like he has the last couple weeks? RB - 1 pt 10 yds rush/rec, 6 pts TD, -2 fumble DD vs Jax Tough def, especially vs the run, but will he get enough catches to make up for lack of rush yds, and will he get any goal line carries? Sammy M vs Clev. Upside - Playing Clev. and gets goal line carries. Downside - Splits carries, and doesn't get as many yds as a result. Glabra Posted December 25, 2004 Share Posted December 25, 2004 Volek would be the safer play because of Collin's injury. Denver's defense has really come apart the last few weeks. Plus Volek won't make as many mistakes as Collins is sometimes prone to do. On your RB situation, I'd go with a proven player who's been coming on strong over basically a no-name, esp. if your RBs get points for receptions.
