MojoMan
I woke up to find that some f()(ker smashed my driver side window and stole my GPS. I hope it was for food for his family and not a drug habit. F'in economy.
MojoMan
This is interesting. After the smash and grab, I was discussing with my fiance whether ordinarily law-abiding citizens are doing this sh!t. Dis guy says ordinarily law-abiding people ain't doing the crimes but they're willing to buy stolen goods when cash is tight. "Rosenfeld says crime rates rise in such times not because ordinary citizens become criminals, but because some consumers begin entering the underground markets in which stolen goods are sold. "As that demand expands, the incentives for criminals to supply those markets will go up," he says. "It's not the case that downturns transform virtuous people into street criminals."" http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.p...oryId=101106238 Makes sense to me.
