Man cut down day to 53 is very difficult. You have to guess who you can cut and hope to get back on the practice squad while not keeping risky players. Wow this isn't easy but here goes. Final 53 Man roster come cut day on Aug 30 for the Cowboys. (assuming we don't go get anyone else like we did with Coady). Knee problem is risk and coverage skills are not good enough for free saftey yet. Had to keep crowder over him as he is a special teams burner. Thornton, Kalen- Strong kid but fowler is better on special teams. The love the kid reminds me of bates also the way he sticks his nose in there, but we need a cover saftey and I just don't see him able to do that consistantly right away which is what we need. The problem with the knee is that is swells, they drain it he plays it swells again. I hope he makes it. The #40 is a special one and he'd do it plenty of justice.
