Wizards
Panthers got bad calls...made bad plays and got penalized for 70+ yrds(minimum) yet still beat the Brownies.. Who looked good: Panthers--RB-- Jamal Robertson--5'10" 210 pounds had 100 all purpose yards...he's quick and don't go down on the first, sometimes second hit....pretty quick! Panthers--TE--Michael Gaines--"BIG" bruising TE who caught balls and dished out punishment...6'2" --270(really looks heavier) pounds..Deshaun Foster...coughed the ball up again(fumblitis still there)....Eric Shelton looked lathargic..Delomme and Steve Smith connected for a TD early...looks like chemistry still there after a year off....Panther "D" looked good...sacks, hurries all via blitz.....did drop a couple int's though.....did get a key fumble with less than 3 minutes to play to go on with Weinke at QB(most of the 2nd half) hitting Efrem Hill across the middle with less than a minute to play..Hill (very fast--at least appeared to be) out ran the LB and safety to the pylon for the winning score..... Brownies...Looked good--Braylon Edwards and William Green....Sultan McColough looked great at RB until the 4th quarter fumble that cost the Brownies the game....Dilfer threw well and threw to Antonio Bryant often...Edwards is going to be awesome given time....all I got time for this time..... PantherDave
I will say this-Foster has the starting job, but if he continues to fumble the ball, Coach Fox will without hesitation sit him on the bench most likely as the 3rd RB. This has always concerned me with Foster, and still does, because if he drops the rock and SD knee is sound..well SD will reclaim the starting job. Tega
Who do you think will be more productive this year in a performance league- Bryant or Edwards? Whoever it is - do they warrant a draft pick (if yes, which round - the last one)?
