sundaynfl
As a Noles fan I was pessimistic about tonights game. I did bet on them, but had to cross fingers on both hands. I am impressed with the first quarter and think they have a great running game! Edited September 6, 2005 by sundaynfl
theeohiostate
Running the ball well and playing solid D. They will need this combination to do well with the Frosh at QB. I'll be glad to see Bowden beat Miami for the first time in 6 years. Hopefully they can continue the solid play.
Primetime9287
10-7 Halftime lead has me worried still especially when our QB has 14 yards passing.
sundaynfl
I'd like to see them run a few screen's Miami's pressing the line and looking for the rush or the sack.
Glabra
Haven't seen an uglier game since the last time these teams played in September. Edited September 6, 2005 by Glabra
GWPFFL BrianW
Noles looked very good on defense. So did Miami, although its tough to tell since Weatherford is terrible. Kyle Wright looks like he's gonna be a stud though.

They both played against great Ds in their first games...kinda hard to make assumptions. The Wright statement could be valid but the Weatherford one is not. I hope Lee gets the starting job though, he might be great and he really opens up the FSU offense. GO NOLES 1-0 and WON THE BIGGEST GAME OF OUR SEASON!!! Primetime9287
Lee and Weatherford should both get really good practice against The Citadel on Saturday in preparation to go into the game against Boston College. GWPFFL BrianW
Weatherford didn't show anything though. The only thing he did was drop a couple screens to Washington or Booker. Wright played real well. The first Int was a tipped pass, the 2nd int was a poor read, but didn't amount to anything, becaaause weatherford was worse. I look at it like this, Florida State defensively looked more impressive than Miami did (not by much) and Weatherford played worse than Wright. Being at home, you would think he could have done a little better.
Primetime9287
I agree Weatherford didn't look good at all. What was he, like 6 for 24 or something like that with an INT. I just think saying he is terrible is a little premature. He can't be any worse than Rix But like I said, hopefully Lee gets the start because he is much more athletic than Weatherford and who knows, he might even have a better arm. Edit: BTW, go IOWA Because I hate Ohio State and Michigan !! Edited September 6, 2005 by Primetime9287
