The Waterboy
I tend to view RBs as always one play away from a season-ending injury. I really think it's that dangerous. Having had Jamal Anderson, Fred Taylor, and Julius Jones last season (and dropping him) lose half a season or more, you can see why. I'm thinking I should backup Edge again this year with Rhodes, but Rhodes is hurt - so it's tough to justify keeping him as a backup, when the season-long fill in could be Rhodes, Carthon, or whoever. I'm curious if other people are having this problem. Some owners, no. If you have Rudi Johnson, Chris Perry is a no brainer. So is Maurice Morris for Alexander owners. Solids backs that could clearly step in on a moment's notice. McGahee owners are prime suspects though - do you even bother picking up Shaud Williams or Lionel Gates? What about Ahman Green owners? Corey Dillon owners? Clinton Portis owners? Or what if you have Rudi Johnson and Deuce McAllister? Do you bother having Stecker and Perry? You probably should have dropped him rather than Julius Jones.

Vet
Depends who else is available. Remember, your fantasy football back-ups don't actually have to be back-ups.
