theeohiostate
I was wanting to confirm a thread that someone has posted on FFToday.Com. Someone posted that McNabb may have a sports hernia and may be out for the year. Don't frequent the site, and may be a fishing expedition, but posters seemed concerned and wanted a verification of BS on this.
DMD
Priority News yesterday: Donovan McNabb - QB, Philadelphia Eagles 09/26/05 Reports are coming out of Philly that this week McNabb was tested for a sports hernia, a tear or disruption in the abdominal area that does require surgery to correct. McNabb had an MRI taken early this week and the results were sent to America's foremost sports hernia expert Dr. William Meyers. Word is the MRI was not conclusive enough to determine whether or not he had an abdominal strain or a sports hernia. Often an MRI doesn't show a sports hernia in the early stages of the injury. Huddle Up: Everyone has been wondering why McNabb has been reluctant to run so far this season, and we may have our answer now. If this turns out to be a sports hernia then McNabb will have to play through the pain for the remainder of the season as rest and treatment won't really cure the problem. Thankfully for fantasy owners, it doesn't appear to hinder his ability to throw.
theeohiostate
Thanks DMD. That would spell doom for the McNabb-Owens combination. Hopefully, he is able to continue for the Eagles sake.

CaptainHook
I heard about it on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown. You can play with it, but if it gets severe enough, surgery is required.
