Grits and Shins
Many of you need to review the rules in regards to taking teams that are OFF the board. If you pick any team from a game OFF the board it is an automatic loss. That means if you selected any of the following teams it will be an automatic loss: BAL DEN JAC KCC NYJ PHI And while I have your attention, please put teams in ALPHABETICAL order in the format that they are listed (3 character abbreviation ... DAL, DEN, OAK ... NOT ... Dallas, Denver, Oakland ... NOT Cowboys, Broncos, Raiders. If you take a team from a game that is OFF the board it will be an automatic loss and there will be no recourse. Even if that team wins by 100+ points.
Grits and Shins
Please note that I have already entered all the picks up to the penatly flag I threw in that thread ... if you wish to correct/change your picks you need to QUOTE the old one and enter the new one ... otherwise I won't see the changes. CrazedBronco
Just wondering why teams are OFF the board. It is going to kill me not to be able to have my homer pick this week. CrazedBronco

CrazedBronco 1026439[/snapback] Typically games are OFF the board because a key player in that game is injured or his status for the game is uncertain. Therefore the odds makers don't want to set the odds because they aren't sure where to set them to get equal betting on both teams. In Denver's case it is like Champ Bailey and / or Leftwich ... possibly Robert Smith that is causing the odds makers to take pause. They may set the lines later in the week ... but for our purposes they will remain off the board.

Every book I checked has lines for all the games now, except a few that don't list one for the SF/AZ (Warner?) game [which you have listed]. KC and Den were off early, only because they played Monday night. Not being critical, just curious. Great job!

BigMikeinNY
Well said! Keep up the great work tallying up wins and losses with people's sprea, you are doing great. I also agree, maybe if you wait one more day to post games (and lines) all the games will be on the board. It is VERY rare for a game to be off the board. Most games by Tuesday are up and running with correct spreads. even if we have to wait one day for spreads, it will be worth it if the spreads are they are supposed to be.
