Roy Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 I am a Charger fan and don't even want to bring up that they beat the Pats today since that is not the subject I want to address ... rather, what are your thought on Brees? I really have been non-committal, I know he has been efficient and all, but never that exciting. He has gotten "long" passes by short ones to Gates who legs it into a big gain. Never thought he had an arm. HOWEVER - that pass to Cadwell in the corner of the end zone was a gem. In the air 40 yards, and on the button. I was at the Dallas game when they couldn't stick it in in 4 tries from the 7, but I think the two losses, where they let games get away from them, have really solidified Brees and the team.
