DMD
The sideline reporter for the DEN/NE game (Bonnie Bernstine) was talking about the RB situation for the Pats since Patrick Pass now has a knee injury of some sort. She said she asked Belichick about his RBs and he said Zereoue was there but was still learning the offense and that Dillon was suited up but wasn't good enough to play. Then why, pray tell, was he wearing a uniform?
cdrudge
With seeing how ND played yesterday in particular and in general this season, I think it was Weis that was the brains behind the last couple of years of success. Belichick obviously contributed to it, but Weis was a major loss.
Czarina
Somebody told me they can have 7 guys inactive...and that making Dillon inactive too wasn't an option. I'm surprised not to see him out there in a limited role. It's a runaway now though so there's no way he's coming out.

Czarina
Why would he though? Nobody else plays by the rules, and Dillon was downgraded to questionable from probable. With the Pats O line playing the way it is, it hardly matters anyway. Their lack of experience against a very tough Denver D line is the key to this game. Ursa Majoris
I wonder if ol' Bellycheck is getting so Machiavellian that he is beginning to fool himself?
Czarina
Why weren't there this many threads last week about why Vick didn't play?

Because he criticizes other teams(Falcons for example) for doing exactly what he does. Did you see his garb on the sidelines. Not exactly Mr Style. What did he do just hack off the sleeves ot that cheap sweatshirt with hedge-clippers? "Why weren't there this many threads last week about why Vick didn't play?" Why, because that wasn't deception. They didn't know until gameday that Vick wasn't playing. Edited October 16, 2005 by Randall
Czarina
Bitter much, Randall? Gotta pick on the man's (lack of) style with clothing now?
