BadgerBacker
I have both Julius Jones and Antowain Smith. I had picked up Tyson Thompson last week becuase he had the most carries after Jones and is an exciting runner, even if a rookie. After this Sunday's debacle, I'm thinking the less risky strategy is to drop Thompson and PU Aaron Stecker. Stecker saw a lot of action this week and would be the primary back if anything happened to Smith. Can anyone make a case for keeping Thompson? chinatown dragons
Im thinking of doing exact same thing. i grabbed Thompson last week (as ALL indications were he was getting the lion share of the carries....I think he's a better runner than A train, but as a rookie, Parcells opted for veteran). Saints will utilize both Smith and Stecker; both ran HARD.
Rileyrott
Same situation here, as I have JJones and A Smith, and am worried that Stecker will supplant Smith as NO's feature back. With that said, I'm not sure that I want 2 NO running backs on my team. Sure, they looked good last week, but will they keep it up or revert back to their GB losing ways? IMO, I think I will pass on Stecker and keep Antowain and see what develops.
BadgerBacker
Haven't seen a good reason to keep Thompson. Will stick with my original thinking and make a WW claim for Stecker.
